TECAS FIRE GRATE

TECAS FIRE GRATE
Sculptural in presence and refined in execution, the Tecas Fire Grate is a striking statement of minimalism and mass. This fire grate marries the warmth of blackened steel with the bold geometry of fabricated metal sculpture, forming a piece that is as commanding as it is functional. Defined by a stepped architectural profile and solid handcrafted construction, Tecas brings elevated precision to the hearth. Whether styled with modern logs or blazing with fire, this design holds its own in any luxury interior.

Bronze:
Periodically wipe the piece with a soft cloth or brush to remove dust and preserve the luster.
Though the durability of bronze makes it suitable for outdoor use, as well as around fireplaces, bronze items should never be placed directly into a hot fire.
BRONZE POLISH MAINTENANCE:
To restore bronze to its original brilliance, use a good quality metal polish. We recommend Simichrome, available at your local hardware store, applied with a clean soft cotton cloth. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions, using rubber gloves in a well- ventilated area. Wipe off any residual polish with Windex and a Bounty paper towel.
BRONZE PATINA MAINTENANCE:
If the patina has noticeably changed over time, use a mild soap (such as Dawn) and warm water on a soft cloth. Never use a solvent or cleaning chemical on the bronze. Corrosive chemicals (such as those used to clean silver and other metals) could damage or strip away the patina. After wiping the sculpture clean, allow it to dry completely before handling. Rubbing too much will remove the patina completely.
