commanding presence in any hearth, the Grant Fire Grate showcases monumental elegance through the use of pure form and refined materiality. The sculptural andirons are cast in solid bronze, their bold spherical forms echoing classical motifs while delivering a strikingly modern silhouette. Supporting the cast elements is a clean-lined grate crafted in blackened steel, designed to elevate both logs and ambiance. With its fusion of traditional grandeur and contemporary edge, the Grant Fire Grate transforms a functional object into a centerpiece of architectural significance.

  • Bronze:

Periodically wipe the piece with a soft cloth or brush to remove dust and preserve the luster.

Though the durability of bronze makes it suitable for outdoor use, as well as around fireplaces, bronze items should never be placed directly into a hot fire.

    BRONZE POLISH MAINTENANCE:

To restore bronze to its original brilliance, use a good quality metal polish. We recommend Simichrome, available at your local hardware store, applied with a clean soft cotton cloth. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions, using rubber gloves in a well- ventilated area. Wipe off any residual polish with Windex and a Bounty paper towel.

    BRONZE PATINA MAINTENANCE:

If the patina has noticeably changed over time, use a mild soap (such as Dawn) and warm water on a soft cloth. Never use a solvent or cleaning chemical on the bronze. Corrosive chemicals (such as those used to clean silver and other metals) could damage or strip away the patina. After wiping the sculpture clean, allow it to dry completely before handling. Rubbing too much will remove the patina completely.
