The Isis Side Table is a sculptural statement of purity and strength. Designed with a monolithic silhouette and curved negative space between each leg, its bold geometry is softened by the elegance of its surface finishes. A versatile piece for both residential and hospitality settings, it functions beautifully as a side table, pedestal, or standalone art object.

  • ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

    50° to 75° Fahrenheit

    40% to 65% Relative Humidity

Avoid extreme fluctuations in temperature and humidity

Limit proximity to direct heat sources and direct sunlight

    Limit contact with moisture

    GENERAL CARE:

Gently dust with a soft cotton cloth.

Always use coasters under both hot and cold drinks.

To prevent gouging and scratching, use felt backing on lamps, ashtrays, and accessories.

When serving hot foods, always use placemats under plates and hot pads under serving dishes.

To prevent moisture damage, make sure plants are in drip-proof pots, and keep foliage from touching the surface.

When placing items down on the surface, always set them down gently; when retrieving items, pick them up, don't slide them.

Don't place rubber or synthetic materials, such as plastics, directly on these materials, since they might contain chemicals that could damage the finish.

Don't place magazines or newspapers on the material’s surface; the ink may bleed into the finish.

Blot spills immediately. Gently blot the area with a succession of clean, soft, dry cloths until the spill is gone and the area is completely dry.

    LACQUERED LINEN:

One of our most durable finishes, lacquered linen may be cleaned with windex and a soft clean cloth or paper towel.

    SHAGREEN AND PARCHMENT

As it ages, some changes in the surface configuration of the shagreen and parchment should be anticipated. Shagreen and parchment are natural leathers, and are reactive to changes of temperature and relative humidity. They must not come into contact with liquid or oils, nor must they be allowed to dry out. Shagreen and parchment must be kept away from sources of direct heat (air sources as well as CPU's and laptops), and out of direct sunlight or other harsh light sources. Heat and/or extreme dryness will cause these exotic skins to contract, lift, dry out and harden.

    BRONZE

Periodically wipe the piece with a soft cloth or brush to remove dust and preserve the luster.

Though the durability of bronze makes it suitable for outdoor use, as well as around fireplaces, bronze items should never be placed directly into a hot fire.

    BRONZE POLISH MAINTENANCE:

To restore bronze to its original brilliance, use a good quality metal polish. We recommend Simichrome, available at your local hardware store, applied with a clean soft cotton cloth. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions, using rubber gloves in a well- ventilated area. Wipe off any residual polish with Windex and a Bounty paper towel.

    BRONZE PATINA MAINTENANCE:

If the patina has noticeably changed over time, use a mild soap (such as Dawn) and warm water on a soft cloth. Never use a solvent or cleaning chemical on the bronze. Corrosive chemicals (such as those used to clean silver and other metals) could damage or strip away the patina. After wiping the sculpture clean, allow it to dry completely before handling. Rubbing too much will remove the patina completely.

    STAINLESS STEEL

Stainless steel furniture requires only occasional cleaning to keep it looking fresh and bright. Use a detergent or stainless steel cleaner to remove any

oxidation that may form on the surface. Oxidation is rare, but should it occur, it will not corrode your furniture and is easily wiped off. Do not use abrasives or scouring powder to clean stainless steel furniture.

Please note that salt water and salty sea air may act as abrasives. Care must be taken in seaside climates.
