VESTAL FIRE SCREEN

$0.00

A sculptural composition of balance and rhythm, the Vestal Fire Screen is an architectural statement piece. Inspired by Modern design and mid-century sculpture, this screen is constructed of bronze nails, artfully joined in a dense, rhythmic configuration. The open structure provides visibility while protecting the hearth, and the expressive form evokes a dynamic energy from every angle. the Vestal Screen is a bold centerpiece that transcends utility with fine art sensibility.

Shown in Polished White Bronze, Oil-rubbed Bronze, and Architectural Brown Bronze.
Available in all Cast Bronze finishes.

  • Bronze:

Periodically wipe the piece with a soft cloth or brush to remove dust and preserve the luster.

Though the durability of bronze makes it suitable for outdoor use, as well as around fireplaces, bronze items should never be placed directly into a hot fire.

    BRONZE POLISH MAINTENANCE:

To restore bronze to its original brilliance, use a good quality metal polish. We recommend Simichrome, available at your local hardware store, applied with a clean soft cotton cloth. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions, using rubber gloves in a well- ventilated area. Wipe off any residual polish with Windex and a Bounty paper towel.

    BRONZE PATINA MAINTENANCE:

If the patina has noticeably changed over time, use a mild soap (such as Dawn) and warm water on a soft cloth. Never use a solvent or cleaning chemical on the bronze. Corrosive chemicals (such as those used to clean silver and other metals) could damage or strip away the patina. After wiping the sculpture clean, allow it to dry completely before handling. Rubbing too much will remove the patina completely.

    Stainless Steel

Stainless steel furniture requires only occasional cleaning to keep it looking fresh and bright. Use a detergent or stainless steel cleaner to remove any oxidation that may form on the surface. Oxidation is rare, but should it occur, it will not corrode your furniture and is easily wiped off. Do not use abrasives or scouring powder to clean stainless steel furniture. Please note that salt water and salty sea air may act as abrasives. Care must be taken in seaside climates.
